Another Perfect Day

I know that this blog mostly consists of happy, wonderful occasions.  Well, I have been accused of only posting the happy times.  Well, my friends, our life is pretty happy overall and I have to think that it is because our little family tends to be pretty darn optimistic.


And today we had another perfect day.  That makes 4 Saturdays in a row.  A day at the beach is Aiden's perfect day.  We spent about three hours there, but he loved every minute of it. 

This little girl was two days older than Aiden and they had so much fun.  

Okay, so one bad thing happened this last week.  I was the LUCKY recipient of the worst haircut of all time.  And now I just have to wait until it grows out.  

Well, I guess life can't be awesome all the time.

Scottish Fest 2012

TA DAH!!! Welcome to our annual Scottish Festival blog post!!!  Oh, MAN we had fun.  We didn't have anyone with us this year - and that was sad.  No Shiree, no Uncle Chris, no Smeds.  But we had fun, nonetheless.

Two solid years of happiness.  This year, Shiree wasn't able to play.  So we still did it.  We tartaned the heck out of the Festival.

 

After a well-timed snooze and a change out of the nifty kilt (that is still too big three years later....), we went to see a movie.  Madagascar 3.  It was hilarious and my little buddy did great.  It was his first movie all the way through and he loved it.  We have been hearing "Circus Afro" for the last few days.  Oy.
